Snow Day

We were hit with a snow storm yesterday, so today is a snow day, the schools are closed, the mayor of Bellingham has declared a Snow Emergency. It was only about 14" of snow, but the city has only a few plows so clearing the roads is slow. Also there seems to be some wind which is causing drifts to cover the cleared roads. Instead of the obligatory snowy trees picture, I decided the deck chairs covered in snow was interesting.
And here's the progress with my knitting, you might notice how small my yarn ball is and the scarf is not that long, I'll just have to see how far I get.
