Bahamas Trip – Post 2, Beaches

The island of Eleuthera is very long and skinny, about 100 miles long, and at one point driving the length of the island you can see the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Caribbean on the other. The Atlantic side is a very deep blue, while the Caribbean is more turquoise. There are lots of wonderful beaches on both sides, each with their own personality. We really enjoyed beach-combing, finding shells, coral pieces, and assorted treasures. At almost every beach we had it all to ourselves.03-beachcombing
