Quilt Top

I've been at a quilt retreat the last few days, where I sewed, and sewed, and completed this quilt top. I worked from Margaret Miller's Strips that Sizzle Book. It's fairly big, about 60" x 72".

  1. Wow, spectacular quilt. Doesn't it feel good to finish something so great? It's good to hear you got alot done at the retreat.

I have/had that book around here somewhere. I forgot how great those quilts look.

Love the colors and the offset Log Cabin. The dark green border really sets it all off.

Glad you had a good time and a productive one.

  3. Wow, Karen. This is a beauty. You were really productive at your retreat.

I was reading your blog and noticed the Bug quilt you photographed from Sept.- Innovations. That was one of the quilts I stopped and studied at PIQF. Amazing quilting and interesting addition of color, with pencils!

  4. I like the green and yellow and of course I love any Strips that Sizzle. I like your border treatment. I always mean to try something like that and never end up doing it.
