A Picture is Worth...

Can you see our morning visitor?

Here, look a little closer.

OK, it's pretty blurry, but a Heron graced us for a brief time this morning. He was very cautious, walked about 1/4 way around the edge of the pond, found a worm which he dunked, then ate and then took off. Dave was sneaking around the house trying to get this picture, it might have scared the heron off, though he was quite a ways away.
